SkyQuest Aviation LLC Purchasing Terms and Conditions

CLAUSES:

  1. Nonconforming Products:
  • Suppliers must promptly notify SQA of nonconforming products, seeking approval for the disposition of supplier nonconforming material.
  1. Product and Process Definition Changes:
  • Suppliers must notify SQA of any changes in product and process definition, obtaining SQA approval where necessary.
  1. Flow Down Requirements:
  • Suppliers are obliged to communicate applicable requirements to sub-tier suppliers as specified in the purchasing documents, including key characteristics.
  1. Certification of Compliance:
  • Upon request by SQA, suppliers must provide Certification(s) of Compliance to all relevant specifications.
  1. Right of Entry:
  • SQA, its customers, regulatory authorities, and all relevant facilities involved with the order shall be granted Right of Entry to monitor product quality and inspect records.
  1. Record Retention:
  • Records resulting from order processing must be retained for a minimum of seven (7) years after the completion of SQA’s customer’s contract or as specified by the customer.
  1. Lost or Damaged Product:
  • Suppliers are responsible for lost or damaged products during the fulfillment of the order.
  1. Quality Management System:
  • Suppliers are encouraged to have an AS9100/AS9110/ISO 9001 Quality Management System or an equivalent.
  1. Prevention of Unapproved Parts:
  • Suppliers must adhere to the prevention of unapproved parts, as outlined in Section 8.1.5 of the AS9110C Standard.
  1. Employee Awareness:
  • Suppliers must ensure that their employees are aware of their contribution to product or service conformity, product safety, and the importance of ethical behavior. Additionally, they should be informed of specific authority and customer requirements.
  1. Delivery Documentation:
  • Suppliers must adhere to specified format and content requirements for the external provider’s delivery documentation package.
  1. Reporting of Malfunctions, Defects, and Unairworthy Conditions:
  • Suppliers must report product malfunctions, defects, and unairworthy conditions to concerned stakeholders under specified conditions.

These terms and conditions are designed to ensure adherence to quality standards, communication transparency, and ethical behavior throughout the procurement process.
